Biography:
Jackie Pinkowitz  M.Ed.

FuturAge, Inc.

As managing partner of FuturAge, Ms. Pinkowitz is involved in advancing quality family-centered care and services across home, community-based and long term care sectors for disabled and aging populations. Ms. Pinkowitz earned her M.Ed. from Rutgers University & holds advanced certification in special needs populations.
Her commitment to empowering consumers through information led to her serving on the board of the Consumer Consortium on Assisted Living; the AHRQ-CEAL Consumer Disclosure Collaborative; and the CEAL-UNC Medication Management Research Project for the national Center for Excellence in Assisted Living in Washington, DC.
As a family caregiver and an advocate, she speaks at national and state conferences; writes on care issues in consumer & professional publications; and is lead author of “Caregivers’ Café” blog for QualityHealth Network.
